“Go Rogue”
That's the message GT Bicycles wants to convey with their new, all-purpose, go-anywhere, no fucks given, "road bike", the GRADE. It's an intriguing bike that takes a hard left from traditional high-performance road bikes by targeting a different sort of crowd. Folks who aren't too concerned with counting grams or shaving their legs - well, the men anyway. Hell, some of these guys are the hairiest dudes we know! These are riders passionate about cycling and may enter the occasional cyclocross race, but whose priority is to simply have a good time on a bike.
The challenge
To convey this message in an informative and interesting website that works within the limitations of GT's existing website framework and CMS (Magento Enterprise). That means making the best of the situation! Their current website isn't totally responsive. Okay, we can at least make the GRADE site scale. So we designed it with a fluid layout and added a few pieces of eye-candy, like parallax scrolling and animated sprites.
